Our buildings serve people
We like participate in projects that serve everyone, such as libraries, schools, audiovisual centres, and also commercial and industrial buildings. It all contributes to the free exchange of goods, services, ideas and values. Both types of projects give us the opportunity to come up with new architectural ideas. And they both have more in common than it might seem.
Commercial buildings are subject to the laws of functionality and efficiency. However, this does not mean that it is necessary to give up esthetics and originality. Even comercial and industrial buildings can be full of ideas, surprising details, innovative practices and bold solutions. And vice versa, cultural buildings must respect the purpose for which they are developed, so it is certainly not a free art work. Finding the harmony between funcionality and beauty is the real mission of architecture.
